About
Loot is an comedy drama series, starring Maya Rudolph, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Joel Kim Booster, and Ron Funches. The series was created by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang that premiered on June 24, 2022, on Apple TV+. Filming on the series began on September 6, 2021, and in July 2022, the series was renewed for a second season. It follows Molly Novak, who after divorcing her husband of 20 years, must figure out what to do with her $87 billion settlement; she decides to reengage with her charitable foundation and reconnect with the real world-finding herself along the way. She decides to get more involved in the foundation's efforts — much to the chagrin of its no-nonsense director Sofia Salinas. |
